Participants discussed the multifaceted aspects of the problem related to the procurement of anti-tuberculosis drugs that countries face in the process of transitioning to public funding, and looked into the possible solutions, including participation in joint procurement through international platforms. A regional overview of the priority issues in this area was presented by an expert of the Curatio International Foundation, Tamar Gotsadze. Representatives from two countries - Uzbekistan and Armenia, presented their experience in procurement of anti-tuberculosis drugs on international platforms.
