Tuberculosis control requires a collaborative effort of all actors: health care workers, researchers, private companies, politicians, and people affected by TB. The main objective of the symposium for NGOs is to discuss with communities and civil society the research priorities from the perspective of people affected by TB. Symposium’ topics cover new diagnostic methods and new treatments for TB, tuberculosis health services, and strategies for engaging the communities in the research. The symposium is organized as a joint collaboration of INNOVA4TB and TB-REP 2.0 projects, with special invited speakers from WHO EURO Office.
